music
i'm no good at making original music, but from time to time i play around making covers with Jummbox, an enhanced version of the classic BeepBox. sometimes i finish them and sometimes i'm even proud enough to share them.
Metronome - Aquarium
i think that, through this, i kind of learned how drums work. nice. 2026.08.23
Minus Jinsay Orchestra - Shoujo Cyborg (chorus)
..and I think I'm finally understanding, on some level, how pure chiptune is structured. I don't fully get it yet, but I'm getting closer. 2025.11.17
Kouku-Densi - Mirai no Bokura (chorus)
I'm working on my chiptune skills... 2025.11.17
Minus Jinsay Orchestra - Irai Ko / Unwanted Child
This took... embarrasisngly long to complete, but I really really really like the result. 2025.11.10
P-MODEL - Boat (sketch)
I just wanted to play around a bit. 2025.10.11
YAPOOS - Gilgamesh (just the chorus)
I don't know if I want to pursue this further. 2025.07.14
Transistor Kirac - Kakuu Kanojo / Imaginary Girlfriend
She officially translated the title of this as "My Liar Baby" for some reason. The minialbum it's on is literally unattainable even in MP3 form, and that makes me sad, so I decided to put that energy into rewatching the live video uploaded to YouTube a thousand times and recreate it. 2025.07.06
Metronome - thank you for my everyday
I struggled. But I survived! I liked this one, especially the guitar solo lol. 2025.05.25
Metronome - Matsuri / Festival
I'm not entirely satisfied with this one. Maybe I'll revisit it? I started working on it because I wanted to go out but woke up too late so I decided to become productive in my own home instead. It means I've been neglecting all the art I've wanted to do, though... done on 2025.05.17. I keep doing songs composed by Fukusuke... why?
ADAPTER。 - Boku no Ibasho / My Location (alternatively, "Where am I?")
This one was really fun to make! 2025.05.14.
Metronome - Maru Sankaku Shikaku Batten / Circle Triangle Square Cross
I actually made the bones on 2024.11.26 and immediately put them down, only finishing on 2025.05.06, the day after I rediscovered it. I think I had dropped it to try covering a different Metronome song or a Cosmo-Shiki song or something. Either way, it was completed eventually, and I ended up really liking the result.
Metronome - ΦD-Sanskrit
The first thing I was actually proud of upon completing, on 2024.11.25. I liked this but somehow with no volume modification the vocals drown out everything else lol...something to keep in mind. I think I was originally basing this off an early demo version but moved to recreating a later recording?
